Former MAYHEM Frontman, SHINING Mainman Interviewed At INFERNO Festival; Video Available

Part 3 of the Contraband Candy's three-part Inferno festival special features an interview with the legendary MAYHEM frontman Maniac, guitarist Niklas Kvarforth and bass player Spacebrain about their new blackened doom/punk project SKITLIV (literally "Shit life"). There's grim talk of illness and manipulation from the ever-controversial Kvarforth and his main band SHINING, and to round off this Unholy Trinity, Spacebrain talks about his future-trash sculptures and the soon-to-be-legendary "Spacebunker."

Inferno festival was held March 19-22, 2008 at the Rockefeller and John Dee venues in Oslo, Norway.

SKITLIV, whose lineup includes SHINING frontman Niklas Kvarforth on guitar and backing vocals, and with whom Maniac writes much of the music for the band, will make two special-edition releases available on the UK's Cold Spring label. Entitled "Amfetamin", the CD version will appear at the end of February and includes the tracks "Amfetamin", with guest vocals by Attila Csihar (MAYHEM),and a special mix of "Slow Pain Coming", together with the live recording of their 2007 appearance at the Underworld in London, which opens with the Tibet/Liles introduction.
